Barrier-free in the HCC

For all the renovation and maintenance work carried out in recent years, apart from the observance and implementation of all legal regulations, special emphasis was placed on monochrome, opaque and non-slip floor coverings. In addition, our wall designs are full of contrasts, handrails and railings start from the ground, the lighting design is largely glare-free and nursing and nursing rooms are available beyond the required level.

Handicapped parking spaces and entrances for the disabled

In the area of our multi-storey car park on the Schillstraße there are seven disabled parking spaces in the immediate vicinity to the main entrance. Two more disabled parking spaces can be found in the Kuppelsaal area, near the park restaurant. On the ground floor you can reach the reception and all the halls and conference rooms of the Hannover Congress Centrum as well as the Kuppelsaal from the main entrance. For additional information on site or assistance, an intercom is installed at the main entrance. Disabled toilet facilities are available in all areas of the HCC. A detailed overview of handicapped accessible parking, access and sanitary facilities can be found in the overview plan.
